In the first lesson of the course the student will be introduced to the Arabic Alphabet and the English equivalent for each letter.

Notes:

• Arabic is written and read from right to left

• More than one Arabic letter may be given the same English equivalent

• The LA in the alphabet table is not a letter of the Arabic alphabet.  Rather it is a combination of the letters L and A and has been placed in the table for the purpose of recognition in upcoming lessons.
